Фактически дети с детства усваивают деструктивные модели поведения. Они запоминают, что неважно кто первым стал проявлять агрессию и спровоцировал конфликт - важно лишь, кто будет красноречивее оправдываться перед взрослыми. А лучшим способом для обычных детей оставаться в относительной безопасности, становится демонстрация задирам и хулиганам своей лояльности и поддержки (Не потому что им действительно нравится то что вытворяют хулиганы, а потому что, в противном случае ребенок рискует сам стать объектом травли). В худшем случае, взросые даже считают такие процессы среди детей - "нормальной социализацией" и "формированием будущих лидеров" (Хотя чаще всего, подобные инциденты формируют будущих алкоголиков и преступников). Впрочем в ныешнее время, дистанционнонный формат обучения мог бы сократить количество подобных явлений в десятки раз, но пока что он встречает яростное сопротивление среди "консерваторов на всю голову" в системах образования.

There was an incident where a kid bullied another kid in high school in 1984, so much that the kid being bullied, who's home was a block away from the school, left the school between classes. Went home and came back with a shotgun. Knew which class the other kids was in. Went to that class and told the teacher that the principal wanted to see the bully in his office. As soon as the bully walked out of the classroom, he got shot point blank. Then the kid with the shotgun, put the gun down, went to the next classroom and waited until the police showed up. He was tried and convicted and spent 10 years in prison. Not sure how much he tried to get the bullying to stop before he just had enough and killed the other kid.
